Kelsea Varela is the founder and principal designer of Urban Desert Design. After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM), in 2015 with a degree in Interior Design, she spent over a decade working alongside design firms, builders, and contractors on residential and multifamily projects across the country.

Today, Kelsea brings that experience to clients throughout Bullhead City, Arizona, Laughlin, Nevada, and surrounding communities. Her design philosophy center on creating spaces that are both beautiful and functional, thoughtfully tailored to the people who live, work, and gather within them.

Whether she’s designing a custom home, refreshing a single room, or helping shape a multifamily community, Kelsea believes great design should feel effortless, personal, and timeless. Her goal is to create spaces that not only look beautiful but enhance everyday life.

When she is not designing, you’ll find her spending time with her husband, two daughters, and their growing collection of four-legged family members. As a busy mom herself, she understands the importance of creating homes that are both practical and deeply meaningful.
